what is a subscription website?
Our website subscription platform is designed to reinvent the way you think about web design. We bring together our expertise in hosting, security, and web management, together with our flair for creative design, making all this available to you as part of our subscription platform. From as little as $15 a week*, you can get online and start getting noticed!
We build a website to your custom specifications, using the content and data you provide, for a fraction of the cost of website ownership. There’s no lock-in contract, no large upfront costs, and no drawn-out build times. This differs from website ownership in that you, the customer, don’t own the website, you are simply ‘renting the platform’, for as little or as long as you want. This is a great solution for small start-ups or businesses that want a quick and easy digital presence with minimal outlay.

website host + maintainOur quick start web design build comes with up to four (4) fully mobile responsive pages*, depending on your requirements OR a one-page design, with up to four (4) distinct sections, whichever is your preference. This option is perfect for a small start-up or a business wanting a vibrant and minimal online presence. The one-off website subscription platform sign-up fee is non-refundable and is deducted from your nominated card at the time of sign up. The website hosting and maintenance fee is deducted from the card used at the time of sign up and can be paid weekly or monthly, as best suits your cash flow.

How does the subscription work?
Simply fill in the form to sign up to our website subscription platform. A one-off, non-refundable fee is payable on sign up (but if you don’t love your new website on review and decide not to go ahead you’re free to cancel, at no cost).
After signing up you’ll need to supply us with your logo, photos, content, brand kit (if applicable), and any other information you think is necessary to complete your new website. (Don’t have content or a logo? – talk to us about more options).
Your new website will be ready for review within 21 business days from sign up*. You’ll get a staging website link for your new site, so you can take a look and make any tweaks (final adjustments need to be requested within 28 business days of receiving staging link).
* we’ll need all your info before we’re able to get started.
Your website subscription payments will commence one week after receiving the staging link, but don’t worry, your website won’t go live until you’re 100% happy and have given us the go-ahead.
FAQs about our subscription sites
Do I get access to my website?
A huge benefit in signing up for our subscription platform is that you don’t have to worry about all the tricky, technical stuff. We ensure your site is always performing as expected and your digital presence is always professionally displayed.
It’s important to maintain this degree of excellence so editing access is limited to our trained team who know their way around your site (like the back of their hand!). So, the short answer is mostly no. However, we understand that you may want to make changes/additions at some point. Our standard build subscription offers up to one hour per month of free content edits (and additional changes can be undertaken at our hourly chargeout rate).
If your site runs a blog, your subscription gives you full author access, enabling you to create, edit, and update your own blogs or you can take advantage of your one free hour and have us do it for you!
If you have signed up for our quick start build, content updates are not included as part of this package, which is intended for static sites, but if you would like to upgrade your hosting and maintenance to allow for edits, we’re more than happy to do so. Get in touch with us by email to arrange.
Do I own my website?
Our web design subscription service is very affordable and the ongoing monthly maintenance fee guarantees regular updates and top-notch hosting for your website, again at an affordable rate.
If, however, you do choose to leave our services and wish to take your website with you, you have the option to purchase your website. See our terms and conditions for more information.
If you change your mind about using our services, you are welcome to leave the service at any time (30 days notice is needed), but there are no lock-in fees or penalties for leaving. Any content or images you have supplied remain yours.
What about getting a domain name for my website?
Our dedicated team at Inversit is well-versed in the domain registration process. Whether you’re a startup, a small business, or an individual looking to claim your spot in the digital world, we have you covered. We offer a wide range of domain extensions, allowing you to choose the perfect domain name that aligns with your brand, industry, or personal preferences. What about DNS?
We require your DNS to be with Cloudflare, to use all the additional security features. We provide a fully managed DNS service to you. You don’t have to understand DNS to work with us as we will look after it all for you. SPF, DKIM, DDNSEC, CNAME, AAAA, SSL…we know all this so you don’t have to!

If you’re a business owner who would prefer to own your website outright but would still like us to design, build, and host your site, we can definitely help you out! We offer both standard and e-commerce website options. If you need a more custom application, get in touch with us to chat about how we can help. Additionally, you can also elect to have your site hosted with us or can choose your own hosting provider. Please note hosting is charged separately.
It’s worth being aware that having your website hosted overseas can cause noticeable performance issues for visitors in Australia because each request has to travel significantly further to load the content on your web page. Additionally, the SEO of your website can be affected by the location of your hosting provider. Our premium high-speed hosting is based in Australia in a high-security data centre, providing dependable and consistent performance for your website, as well as real-time support.
How much does it cost to own my website?
Our standard website design + build packages generally start at $1,595 plus GST, with e-commerce packages starting at $2,950 plus GST.

Can you work on my existing website?
Unfortunately, the answer to that question is generally no. It’s tricky working on a website that’s been completed by someone else as we’re limited by what has already been built on the site. Integration of forms and CRM systems can’t be guaranteed and there may be conflicts with existing plugins or code that cause issues for your ’new’ website. Sometimes, a significant amount of unraveling of bad design, bad code, or both would be required. It’s actually far more cost-effective for us both to simply rebuild your site and do it properly from scratch.
Do I own my website?
If you have opted to purchase a website outright, once the final invoice is paid, the website is totally yours! You are free to choose your own hosting provider and manage the website yourself, or we’re very happy to also host and manage your website. We maintain admin access while we host and manage the site. If you choose to have your website hosting with Inversit, we require your DNS to be with Cloudflare, to use all the additional security features. We provide a fully managed DNS service to you.
